Brooke Doss and Wescott Promising Pan Am Prospects
"Rounding out a big year for the talented rider from Charlotte, North Carolina, Brooke Doss and her mother Ann's 10-year-old Oldenburg Wescott (by West Coast out of Doramber), clinched the BLM Intermediare I Championships in Lexington, Virginia, Sunday, October 20th."


 

 

Ann Williams volunteers at Riverwood Therapeutic Riding Center and also serves on the board of directors. She wrote an article for the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NAHRA) which was featured in their "Volunteer Perspective" column in the Stall Street Journal.


 

 

David and Nancy Clark, along with granddaughter Fallon participated in the 2001 NBHA World Championships in Augusta, GA. David and Casper (bottom) were the flagbearers during the event, while Fallon (top left) rode Peppi's No Question in the barrel race and Nancy rode Casper.

JROTC Cadets Score High on Annual Inspection
"Carpenter, a senior and battalion commander, plans to enlist in the Army following graduation. She made a 1260 on the SAT, well above the 1050 national SAT average of those in the JROTC."

Congratulations to Ellen and Bill Myers! Ellen placed in the Top 10 in the nation, and Bill brought home Championships on Fox Hunter in the following divisions:

Masters Non-Pro Hunter Under Saddle
35+ Non-Pro Hunter Under Saddle
Novice Non-Pro Hunter Under Saddle

Fox Hunter was Reserve National Champion Hunter Under Saddle

 


Congratulations to Lauen Jump and Juri Gagarin - they have been selected for the USDF Region 1 Dressage Team which will compete in Chicago at the North American Advanced Young Riders Championships August 6-11. Greystone would like to wish them both lots of luck!

Greystone would also like to congratulate Beth Johnson and Dino on winning the NC Hunter Jumper Association Championships for 2002!

Riverwood Therapeutic Riding Center will get a new indoor arena, allowing them to expand their services for children with developmental delays and physical disabilities.
